UNDERSTANDING MYSELF

These courses and workshops are all designed to give you more insights into YOU! Your identity, thinking, emotions, values and doubts. We also explore how different states of mental health can affect these and provide practical ways to help you recognise and manage them all more effectively. 

- Understanding myself, recognising my personal strengths and values and the way they affect my mental health and relationships

- Understanding my thinking and how it affects my emotions, moods, and communication

- Exploring the language of emotions

- Understanding mental health conditions and how to better manage them: Low Mood and Depression, Stress and Anxiety, Panic, Acrophobia, Autism, ADHD, Social Anxiety, Anger

- Exploring the complexity of identity

- Developing a more positive body image

- Managing self-doubt and perfectionism

- Understanding and managing difficult thoughts and self-harm

- Understanding addictions and their impact on mental health

Attending Young Adults is completely FREE and open to anyone aged between 18 and 35, who lives or works in the Borough of Bracknell Forest.


We are an independent charity but work closely with all local services and charities. You don’t need a referral from anyone – it’s entirely up to you to decide whether to enrol and which courses you want to attend.
