How it works

What will it be like?

We aim to provide a safe, compassionate environment and will meet in small groups, so that everyone has the chance to connect socially.

We often experience similar life stage transitions, and sharing these experiences can provide valuable opportunities for mutual learning and support.

Most courses will be held at at Stepping Stones Recovery College in Bracknell and these will either be in the early evening or at the weekend.

We hope these timings will make it possible for those with jobs and young families to attend. Depending on demand, we may also offer some courses online.

How many courses or workshops should I do?

Supporting your mental health is an ongoing, lifelong process and we're offering a lot for you to choose from, so please do take time to think about what really interests you most.

When courses become available, maybe initially just commit to one or two so you don’t feel overwhelmed. We can help you to clarify your goals and suggest courses and workshops that could best support these.

If you'd like to discuss anything about any of these modules, please do contact the Young Adults team.

When can I register?

You can register to become a student now, although we're still finalising the timings for the first courses and workshops but we hope to begin offering these in the Autumn of 2024.

To help us decide which to offer first, we would really love to have your feedback on which most interest YOU! Check out our course lists on the next few pages and let us know which ones interest you via our survey.

If you're happy for us to stay in touch, we will contact you when we have dates and times for these. You will then be able to book onto any that you are still interested in.

Who Can Attend?

The courses and workshops in this new programme have been designed by and are intended primarily for young adults, aged between 18 and 35 years.

However, we welcome all enquiries, especially from those who are not within this age range, but may be supporting someone who is. They too will be welcome to attend.
